HARVEST NOTES
When making sparkling wine, an early harvest is a must. The 2021 harvest began the first week of September and the grapes were hand-picked on two beautiful sun-soaked days by our friends in Kamloops. The grapes were then basket pressed and the juice was bucketed into stainless tanks.
WINEMAKING NOTES
Although the Okanagan Valley has a rich history in the farming of hybrid grapes, today less than 5% of vineyards globally are planted with hybrid making this wine both rare… and hard to share! This beautiful pink bubble is made with Marquette. This grape variety is a descendant of the Pinot Noir, and is one of the most hardiest wine-making grape varieties and when picked early, results in a fresh Rosé with great natural acidity.
