HARVEST NOTES

Our Gewurztraminer for this vintage is all estate grown. This sun-soaked fruit, rooted in the hills of West Kelowna. The 2021 growing season was a wild one but this spicy grape found ways to thrive. 

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Did you know that there are only about 35,000 acres of Gewürztraminer in the world? That may sound like a lot but compare it to the nearly 500,000 acres of Chardonnay and suddenly the scale has been tipped. Add to that, the fact that we only made 75 cases of this 2021 vintage and you’ve got yourself something pretty special. This off-dry wine is bursting with aromatics and begging for a hot summer day. If you love spice-driven dishes like Thai or Indian cuisine, you’ll find Gewürztraminer to be a perfect match.

TASTING NOTES

Prominent aromas of lychee and floral notes rise from the glass. Each sip will have you picking up new flavours like honey, mango and lemon. Enjoy this wine with a traditional pairing of Thai peanut rolls, or go outside of the box and try it with mango gelato (local Kelowna shop QB Gelato never disappoints) or cardamom creme brulee.
