ABOUT THE PLOT TWIST PROJECT 

The Plot Twist Project is a series of wines designed by our winemaker’s need to experiment. This project is a chance for him to get creative and even a little wild with micro-batches of single varietals. The fruit is mostly from our farm but may also be sourced from neighbouring vineyards with varietals (like Riesling) that ripen differently in the South Okanagan. These wines are made with minimal intervention, maximum farming effort, and promise to be totally delicious. 

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Riesling by its very nature is rich in acidity making it a bit of a winemaker’s playground. As a result, there is a broad spectrum of well-balanced Riesling made around the world with varying degrees of sweetness. Our 2019 Riesling is an aromatic white with a good backbone of acidity and a delicate, sweet finish. This balance of sweetness and acidity makes it the perfect sidekick for spicy food or spicy anything really.   

TASTING NOTES

Off-dry, and delicious. The nose will have you dreaming of apples, lemon curd, and pineapple. This Riesling will wake up your taste buds with lively acidity and minerality. The palate is all lemon, lime, and gala apples. The versatility of this wine is endless - try a tuna poke bowl, pan-fried wiener schnitzel or smoked pork chop with apple slaw.
