ABOUT THE PLOT TWIST PROJECT
The Plot Twist Project is a series of wines designed by our winemaker’s need to experiment. This project is a chance for him to get creative and even a little wild with micro-batches of single varietals. The fruit is mostly from our farm but may also be sourced from neighbouring vineyards with varietals (like Riesling) that ripen differently in the South Okanagan. These wines are made with minimal intervention, maximum farming effort, and promise to be totally delicious.
WINEMAKING NOTES
Also known as noble juice, free-run juice is a term used to describe the juice that runs – freely – simply as the result of the weight of the grapes before any mechanical pressure is applied in a PRESS. Not unlike Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Free Run Wine is not only the highest quality but perhaps the purest expression of the variety. Turns out delicious things happen when you just go with the flow.
